Sign O’ The Times

Thanks to Jacquie Tellalian for pointing this out (I had no idea) — the NYTimes blogged my book!  HOLY CANNOLI!

I thought the write up was fun too (“Derrida-like vigor” indeed!).  Now if someone will just post another comment — the only one on there right now is the tersely ego-smushing “Gimmicky.”  (I didn’t realize it was possible to reduce 20 years of work to a single word that would then irritate me so much. Kudos Daniel!)

You can read it for yourself right here.

  1. Done (assuming the NYT approves the comment). Just found you via the latest Juxtapoz and really like your work – now, to read more of your blog…

  2. Righteous! Dr. Hypercube has my back!

But this is exactly why God made the internet. So pithy twerps can piss us off more efficiently.

I left a comment at NYT. And I really mean it. I think I saw your work in Juxtapoz, like, 10 years ago and have always loved it. I got your book; it’s really nice and nicer still to have so much cool art well reproduced in one place.

  4. “Daniel” probably has a houseful of open-edition Thomas Kinkade prints.

  5. Wow, I have a posse! Thanks, all — my ego is re-inflating nicely now.

  6. damn straight, yo.
