Lots going on this week, folks, specifically this Friday the 3th of October. You can start your evening in San Francisco for the 12th annual Art for AIDS auction, 6:45pm at the Herbst International Exhib. Hall, Bldg. 385 on Moraga St. in the Presidio. Admission is $75 but then they stuff you with delicious food and killer cocktails and you know it’s for a good cause so come on down. This tasty little gocco print w/ collage I did called “Crane Pompadour” will be up for auction:
Then make your way out to the East Bay for “Strange Brew” at Eclectix Gallery, a fab group show and also the grand opening of their spankin’ new space by the El Cerrito Speakeasy. Opening is from 7-10pm, 10082 San Pablo Ave., El Cerrito. There will be two of the oil paintings “Songs of Leisure” on display including this zombie “The Croquet Player”:
Lots to see and do!
And if you’re feeling frisky this weekend — the Pacific Pinball Expo is Sat and Sun at the Marin County Civic Center with over 300 pinball games from past to present set on UNLIMITED PLAY.
