If you liked Weirdo Deluxe and/or you enjoy your art with a splash of dark, Goth or creepy (I’m lookin’ at you, you know who you are), then you’ll be thrilled to know that Matt Dukes Jordan has brought out Weirdo Noir to satisfy your dark needs. It’s filled with juicy images of artists who have “embraced the dark side”, including Alex Gross, Travis Louie and myself.
There’s a review on Huffington Post right here to whet your appetite, saying “the highlight of the book is Jordan’s reworking of a millennia-plus timeline to chronicle the ebb and flow of noirish themes through Jordan’s “Dark Art History.” (I really enjoyed the timeline from Weirdo Deluxe too, it’s a nifty way of putting a little perspective on things.)

love this.
